Tags provide a convenient way to categorize and search for files and folders within Rakuten Drive. Team Drive Users can assign specific keywords or labels to their files and folders, making it simpler to locate desired content. This feature is currently limited to the Web version of Rakuten Drive「rakuten-drive.com」. Mobile app users on iOS and Android platforms cannot add or search for tags.

※ Note: Tags cannot be added to the root folder (the top-level folder) of your Team Drive << Cloud.
How to Get Started
1. Login to Rakuten Drive Web.
2. Move to [Cloud].
3. Hover your mouse over the file or folder you want to tag or edit.
4. Click (⋮) ellipsis icon that appears.
5. Select "Add or Edit Tags".
Or
4. Check the box that appears.
5. Select "Add or Edit Tags".
6. Type your desired keyword(s) and press Enter on your keyboard.
7. Click "Save" and then "Close" to save the tags.
How to View, Edit, and Delete Existing Tags
1. Login to Rakuten Drive Web.
2. Move to [Cloud].
For Files:
3. Click on the file.
4. On the preview screen, click on "About".
5. To edit, delete the tags, click on the "Pencil icon" on Tags.
For Folders:
3. Hover your mouse over the folder and Check the box that appears.
4. Click on "Folder Information" to see the tags.
5. To edit, delete the tags, click on "Add or Edit Tags" after the above step 3.
※ Tag feature is exclusively available for Team Drive users.
※ You can search for files and folders by tag name. Alternatively, you can click on the relevant tag to display all files associated with that tag.
※ Tags can be up to 100 characters long and may contain letters, numbers, and special characters. However, spaces or commas cannot be added.
※ You can add up to 20 tags to a single file or folder.
※ Tags are case-sensitive (e.g., "Project" and "project" are considered as a new, distinct tag).
※ Adding a tag with the same casing will not duplicate the tag. However, adding a tag with different casing (e.g., 'Project' and 'project') will be treated as a new, distinct tag.
※ When sharing files or folders with tags, the tags will also be shared.
※ When moving files or folders within the cloud, the tags will move with them. However, if you copy a file or folder, the tags will not be copied to the new item.
