You can create folders and organize your files in Rakuten Drive Cloud via rakuten-drive.com and Rakuten Drive mobile app.

Create folder
On rakuten-drive.com
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Go to Rakuten Drive Cloud.
3. Click [New Folder] on the right side.
4. Name the folder.
5. Click [Create].
On Rakuten Drive app for iOS
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon at the top right.
4. Tap Create new folder.
5. Name the folder then tap Done.
On Rakuten Drive app for Android
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Tap New Folder icon at the top right.
4. Name the folder then tap Done
※ Note: When using Android device, you cannot include the following characters in Folder names: < > : " / \ | ?
Move file or folder
On rakuten-drive.com
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Go to Rakuten Drive Cloud.
3. Select a file or folder and move it to a different location.
For a single file or folder
1) Right-click the file or folder you want to move.
2) Click Move from the context menu.
3) Select a folder or click Create Folder to create a new folder, then click Move.
For multiple files or folders
1) Select multiple files or folders you want to move.
2) Click [Move] on the right side.
3) Select a folder or click Create folder to create a new folder, then click [Move].
On Mobile app
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Select a file or folder and move it to another location.
For a single file or folder
1) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon to the right of the file or folder you want to move.
2) Tap Move from the bottom menu.
3) Select a folder or tap Add folder icon to create a new folder, then tap [Move to this folder].
For multiple files or folders
1) Long-press a file or folder to switch to edit mode.
2) Select the multiple files or folders you want to move.
3) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon at the bottom and tap Move.
4) Select a folder or tap Add folder icon to create a new folder, then tap [Move to this folder].
Copy file or folder
On rakuten-drive.com
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Go to Rakuten Drive Cloud.
3. Select a file or folder and copy it.
For a single file or folder
1) Right-click the file or folder you want to copy.
2) Click Copy from the context menu.
3) Select a folder or click Create Folder to create a new folder, then click Copy.
For multiple files or folders
1) Select multiple files or folders you want to copy.
2) Click [Copy] on the right side.
3) Select a folder or click Create folder to create a new folder, then click [Copy].
On Mobile app
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Select a file or folder and copy it.
For a single file or folder
1) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon to the right of the file or folder you want to copy.
2) Tap Copy from the bottom menu.
3) Select a folder or tap Add folder icon to create a new folder, then tap [Move to this folder].
For multiple files or folders
1) Long-press a file or folder to switch to edit mode.
2) Select the multiple files or folders you want to copy.
3) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon at the bottom and tap Copy.
4) Select a folder or tap Add folder icon to create a new folder, then tap [Move to this folder].
Rename file or folder
On rakuten-drive.com
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Go to Rakuten Drive Cloud.
3. Right-click the file or folder you want to rename.
4. Click Rename from the context menu.
5. Enter a name and press Enter on your keyboard.
On Mobile app
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon to the right of the file or folder item you want to rename.
4. Tap Rename from the bottom menu.
5. Enter a name, then tap Done.
Delete file or folder
On rakuten-drive.com
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Go to Rakuten Drive Cloud.
3. Select a file or folder and delete it.
For a single file or folder
1) Right-click the file or folder you want to delete.
2) Click Delete from the context menu.
For multiple files or folders
1) Select multiple files or folders you want to copy.
2) Click [Delete] on the right side.
On Mobile app
1. Open Rakuten Drive app and sign in.
2. Navigate to Cloud menu.
3. Select a file or folder and delete it.
For a single file or folder
1) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon to the right of the file or folder you want to delete.
2) Tap Delete from the bottom menu.
For multiple files or folders
1) Long-press a file or folder to switch to edit mode.
2) Select the multiple files or folders you want to delete.
3) Tap (⋮) ellipsis icon at the bottom and tap Delete.
※ Note: The files delete are moved to Trash. To permanently delete them, empty the trash. (▶︎ Learn about Trash)
