If you subscribed to a plan on the website
● Rakuten Drive PRO
Sign in to your Rakuten Drive PRO account and click on [Change plan] to be taken directly to your change page. Scroll down and click 'Cancel plan' at the bottom of the page.
Or, cancel your subscription by following these steps:
- Sign in to your Rakuten Drive PRO account you want to cancel.
- Click your profile picture in the upper right corner.
- Click Settings.
- Click Plan & Billings in the left menu.
- Click 'Cancel' in the Account Type section.
- Scroll down and click 'Cancel plan' at the bottom.
※ Even if you cancel your plan, you can use the service during the period of usage according to your billing cycle. Your account will downgrade to Rakuten Drive Free at the end of your billing cycle.
● Rakuten Drive Business / Rakuten Drive Advanced
The only Team Owner can cancel Rakuten Drive Business or Rakuten Drive Advanced subscription.
To cancel, sign in with your Team Owner account and then click [Billing information] to be taken directly to your billing page. Click 'Cancel' in the Account Type section and then click 'Cancel plan' at the bottom of the page.
Or, cancel your subscription by following these steps:
- Sign in to the Team Owner account you want to cancel.
- Click Admin Console at the top.
- Click Billings information in the left menu.
- Click 'Cancel' in the Account Type section.
- Scroll down and click 'Cancel Rakuten Drive Business' or 'Cancel Rakuten Drive Advanced' at the bottom.
※ Even if you cancel your plan, you can use the service during the usage period according to your billing cycle. All members of the team will downgrade to Rakuten Drive Free at the end of your billing cycle.
If you subscribed to a plan from the iOS app
You can cancel your Rakuten Drive subscription by following these steps:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your profile.
- Tap iTunes & App Store.
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID.
- Tap Subscriptions (about midway through the screen).
- Tap Rakuten Drive.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and then tap Confirm.
※ Even if you cancel your plan, you can use the service during the usage period according to your billing cycle. Your account will downgrade to Rakuten Drive Free at the end of your billing cycle.

What happens when I cancel my plan?
Your account will downgrade to Rakuten Drive Free at the end of your billing cycle. The following happens:
Common
- You cannot share files in excess of the default storage. You can also not upload new files to the cloud. All files stored in your cloud will be deleted 187 days after the subscription end date.
- You cannot change the expiration date of My Link. All files within the links will be deleted on their expiration date.
Team Drive
- All team members, including the team owner and admins, downgrade to Rakuten Drive Free.
- All team members, including the team owner and admins, lose Team Drive storage.
- All files in the Team Drive are automatically moved to the team owner's My drive.
⚠ Once deleted, it can never be recovered. Be sure to back up important files in advance.
