If you signed up for Rakuten Drive account using your email address or Rakuten ID, the final step of the sign-up process is to verify your email address. Please note that there are limitations to accessing our features without email verification.
If you sign-up via Rakuten ID
1. Login to rakuten-drive.com
2. Click your profile picture in the upper right corner.
3. Click Account Settings.
4. Scroll down and click Verify your email address.
5. Click [Send verification email].
6. Check your email inbox for an email with the subject Please verify your email.
7. Open the email and click [Verify email] button.
If you sign-up via Email address and Password
1. Go to rakuten-drive.com
2. Click Create Account
3. Enter [Full name] and [Email address]
4. Click the Get Code button to receive the Email Verification Code.
5. Check your email inbox for email with the subject [Rakuten Drive] Your verification code
6. Enter the code in the Verification Code field.
* The code will be valid for 2 minutes. If the code expires, you can resend it in Step 4.
* After 3 incorrect verification code attempts, you'll need to wait 30 minutes before requesting a new code.
* Verification starts automatically, and a message "Email verified successfully." will appear when it's done.
7. Set your desired password
8. Click [Create Account] button
If you didn’t receive the email containing the verification link, or you are having trouble finding the email, read the tips below:
● Resend a verification email.
When you resend the email, be sure to use the code in the most recent email you receive. Any codes from older emails will expire as soon as a new one is sent.
● Make sure your email address is active.
If your email account is not active, or is dormant, you won't get any emails. Please activate your email account, then try sending the verification email again.
● Try checking directly on your email provider's website.
If you're using a mail app on your phone or computer, it's a good idea to log in to your email provider's website directly. For example, if you use Gmail, log in to Google to check your inbox there.
● Check your inbox storage.
If your inbox is full, you won't be able to receive new emails. Please free up some space if needed.
● Check your spam or junk folder.
Depending on your email provider, emails might get filtered into your spam (or junk) folder.
● Look in your trash folder.
Your email provider may have filters that automatically move certain emails to your trash.
● Search your inbox.
Try searching for emails sent from no-reply@rakuten-drive.com.
If you've tried all these steps and still can't find your verification email, please contact Support Team with your Rakuten Drive account details.
